Thank you to our president, Brian Martin, who commissioned his ‘Poet Laureate’, (Sir) Barrie Sheppard, to write a poem to capture the loss of what we are all feeling at this difficult time. Brian combined this magnificent poem with a photo that he took in preparation for the talk he gave on the Open House weekend at he NGVI last June and the subsequent lecture he gave to the guides.
