    Thank you Michael for your thoughtful post.
    I am also reminded of the works of masters Basquiat and Haring in particular those relating to Michael Stuart’s death in custody.
    And the NGV’s two Nick Cave ‘Sound Suit’s’ bought into the collection from the Triennial.
    Nick Cave first began this sculptural practice of ‘suites of armor’ as a reaction to Rodney King ‘s (author/activist) brutal death by the LAPD – Los Angeles 2012.
